An education savings account (ESA) or scholarship may pay through a marketplace or reimburse an eligible purchase. Rules depend on the program and the student.
Marketplace purchase
Your program pays the provider through an approved route. Check that the exact AMP product and term are available in your program before placing an order.
Pay, then claim reimbursement
You pay by card and submit the receipt and required documents to the program. Confirm eligibility before paying. A receipt does not guarantee reimbursement.
Guidance by state

Keep your documents.
Save the itemized receipt, service dates, and the program’s purchase instructions. Use the purchaser and student details your program requires. Submit documents through the program’s own secure channel.
